The mode is the number that appears the most often in a set of numbers. For example, I have the following set of numbers;
34, 68, 26, 34, 86, 43, 88
To find our what number appears most often, i put them in numerical order;
26, 34, 34, 43, 68, 86, 88
I see that there are two of the number 34, so therefore 34 is my mode.
